Non-destructive testing of pipes and surface testing require a large number of techniques, which often depend on the application and the types of materials involved. ECTANE 2 allows you to manage any type of technique based on the electromagnetic method, according to the specific needs of the customer:

ECTANE2 allows through an electromagnetic technique the detection of fatigue cracks in metal components and welds. It combines the advantages of alternating current potential drop (ACPD) and eddy current testing (ECT) in defect dimensioning without calibration and ability to work without electrical contact.

The probe of our ECTANE2 introduces an electric current in the part to be controlled and measures the associated electromagnetic fields near the surface.
The presence of a defect disturbs the associated fields and the information is presented graphically to the system operator.

The defect is thus easily identified and the tool provides information on its position and length.

The inspection can be carried out without the need to remove paints and/or coatings.
