Plant inspections with remotely piloted aircraft system with drone (SAPR)

ISPECO has added to its equipment for plant control and inspections a RPAS (Remotely piloteded aircraft system with drone) designed by Italdron.

This system allows to control items developed in height and generally difficult to access such as:

• flares
• columns

Saving time and money for support works (scaffolding or cranes), no downtime and above all, not least, it reduces the risk of workplace accidents for high-altitude works.

On the 8-motor drone you will find:

• a Sony camera with ultra-high definition optics (possibility of detecting a small defect even 10 meters away)
• a Flir thermal imaging camera built specifically for aerial inspections (Flir VUE).

In addition to the industrial sector, inspection with a drone equipped with a camera and thermal imaging camera can be used in many other scenarios such as:

• inspections of areas of photovoltaic systems, aimed at improving the efficiency of the system, to obtain accurate and detailed information even of a single cell of a photovoltaic panelagriculture, to obtain valuable information to improve the harvest and make water and agro-technical resources more efficient
• hydrogeological instability, to check river banks, landslides etc.
• urban construction
